The Westmont Foundation builds relationships between Westmont and the business and social community. The foundation further provides valuable funding that enables gifted students to attend Westmont College.

MIT Central Coast Forum – MIT
The premier networking and educational forum for central coast entrepreneurs, angel investors, and venture capitalists. MIT Central Coast is a standard for innovation, business strategy, and mentor resources.

Arthritis Foundation of the Central Coast
Co-founded Leadership Council in 2008 – led Council as Chair in 2008. Active member of Council focused on strategic fund raising and Taste of the Town sponsorship.

The Technology Management Program’s curriculum and outreach programs extend the University’s tradition, with cutting edge entrepreneurship lecture series, business plan competition, and leadership events as we build new educational programs for students and the Central Coast business community.

The Scheinfeld Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation hosts a two-tiered business plan competition for Santa Barbara City College (SBCC) entitled Scheinfeld Center New Venture Challenge for SBCC students, Antioch University students, and area high school students to promote youth entrepreneurship.

Former Board Member, Vice President, and Host
Catalyst for Thought
A Santa Barbara based 501.3.c non-profit that offers lectures by leading business and technology professionals and donates all proceeds to local non-profits. Jacques Habra helped launch the organization as part of the original team and acted as exclusive Catalyst for Thought host in 2007, 2008, and 2009. Habra coined the term “Invest in yourself, Invest in your community” – the original organization positioning statement. The organization has raised tens of thousands for area non-profits.
